Mekong International Services Co., Ltd. Inspected for Compliance with Labor Law Regulations

On October 15, 2024, at the headquarters of Mekong International Services Co., Ltd., located on the 1st floor - Thien Son building, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, representatives of the Labor Inspectorate of the Department of Labor and relevant authorities conducted a joint inspection of the company’s compliance with labor regulations.

At the inspection, the company was represented by Ms. Do Kim Thao – Deputy General Director, along with department heads and relevant personnel.

The inspection results showed that Mekong International Services Co., Ltd. currently manages over 500 employees. The company has fully complied with labor declaration procedures and has legally signed contracts with all employees, including both indefinite and fixed-term contracts.

The company also follows the correct procedures for terminating labor contracts in cases where employees leave, ensuring workers’ rights, including severance payments and unemployment insurance.

Regarding wages, the company has established a clear salary scale system, with the minimum wage as required. The average income of workers here reaches about VND 23 million per month, ensuring transparency in salary payments.

Additionally, the company has implemented workplace democracy regulations, established a trade union to protect workers’ rights, and signed a collective labor agreement. The company regularly holds periodic dialogues with employees, ensuring a transparent working environment and compliance with working time regulations.
